Everwood's final finale
So I am bummed because the only show that I took time out to watch every week, that I have really ever done that for on a consistent basis, is gone. Gone off the WB forever because of new management, and there is word they are bringing back Seventh Heaven. That finale was so horrible and the actors on there are not the best. Keep the show that people actually like to watch. COME ON!!
So anyways..... the reason for this is because there was a quote that Andy Brown, a father on the show, said to his son. It was something like this:
"It doesn't matter who you are with in the picture (future) as long as you are happy where you are. What matters is what you look like in the picture."
It made me think of mine. I had a discussion today at lunch with friends about this very topic. Who would be in our future and the struggles we are facing now. Would we still be happy in the future if things didn't change? It was more on, "don't settle for someone who's heart is not fully in it, you deserve to have someone who loves you as much as you love them." And my thinking was, "well if I am happy and am fully in love with someone and am with that someone, what else really matters. I am happy." And they were saying that would just be fooling yourself and in the "picture" so to say, You wouldn't be happy.
Hence the profoundness to me tonight about the great quote (which was more astounding than my reverb of it). And I came to a conclusion about my life; where I am right now, who I am right now and the future I want to have, the person/people in the picture, I am happy in my picture and will be happy in that picture. I know how I feel and if the other person doesn't know or feel as much as I, but is still with me and happy being there, then why constantly think about it and worry.
So now the pondering question for you to share on....
Do you think it right (a true happy picture) to just go on being happy with your life because you are in love with all of it, and the person you love the most is in it. No matter where that person may be in their picture. They are there with you, right, so should you worry about all the other stuff or just be happy, because you are?
And this song comes to mind...... (Melissa this is for you)
OOOO ooo ooo oooo oo oo oooo oooo oo oo ooo ooo OOOOOO
oooooo oooo oo ooo ooo oo OOOOOOO
ooooo oooo oo oo OOOOOO
Don't worry, be happy now. (REPEAT X ~)

WHAT!?! No more Everwood!! How could they...how dare they. That show always has something profound to teach me. I am pretty darn sad about that!!
Thanks for the thoughts. And luckily I am happy now and in my picture. I guess I always try to remember that the picture can change and will change...not to say that I will get a sad picture...but I just keep remembering to be happy everday with what I have NOW... A God who loves me, a wonderful husband, and a precious child on the way, and friends like YOU that are always teaching me wonderful things. I miss you so much. (Just remember that they need Chiropractors in the Southwest too!!) Love you.

i agree with mindy on needing the chiropractors in the southwest.
i didn't really watch everwood but thought it was an ok show. I'm a 7th Heaven fan myself. It's too bad they can't keep those two and get rid of something else.
I am happy you are happy with your picture. I am pretty happy with mine. Thanks for the great insight that you give. ~i~

No Everwood? This world gets more cruel every waking moment.
I loved the high-tension drama, set in a snowy and small town environment with an endearing family and community-feel.
This is tragic.
And good for you on the lovely thoughts of being happy with the life that you have been given to lead. They are very inspirational and Im definately looking to them for my own strength and happiness.
