Shout out...
So this week is so crazy busy but I wanted to put something up because, well.... okay...
"Hello my name is Allison and I am obsessed with the blogging!"
Whew finally got that off my chest, oh no... where did it go. Man so small. haha
Anyways I wanted to put two things down that I thought were insightful and intriguing.
First is, my friend Amanda Hyde (have to say last name because I have another friend Amanda) gave me her fortune because I wanted to remember it. This is what it said (which she had to explain it to me afterwards, and is why I love it.)
"Enough is as good as a feast."
How great of a fortune, if you eat and it makes you fool it is like having a feast, because what would you do with the rest of the food once you are full? You ate what you could eat, so it's always like a feast. Be happy with what you have because it's enough. It's YOUR feast.
(just thought it was really cool.)
Second is , my friend and her fiance are having a troubling time right now. A couple of us at school were talking about the situation and how things can be seen as "signs" and can also be used as an excuse/justification of wrong. It's hard to tell, but there is always a reason for it all in the end. One of the girls said her pastor told her this insight once and it stuck with her, and will now stick with me forever.
"Don't marry someone unless you would want to be them, unless they are someone who's shoes you would want to be in."
Meaning, that person, for all they are inside and out, should be someone you would want to be like, because when you marry two become one. I never thought of it like that and really want to ask people who have long lasting marriages if they feel that way about their spouse. Very true in a sense though. If you don't like something about your significant other's character, it's time to evaluate the situation. It's not about if they snore or chew with their mouth open, it's a matter of principle and character.
Well this is more than I planned on but have many more topics in mind, like my scuba, but that will wait untill I get the results from my written test.
~By the way~ Big results this Friday - BOARD SCORES GO ONLINE!!!!!
